The firefighters serving the Rio Vista Fire Protection District work each and every day to protect the residents, businesses, and visitors of the City of Rio Vista, the Delta Fire District, and our mutual aid areas. Our firefighters serve a population of about 10,000 residents and respond to nearly 2,500 emergencies every year. We uphold the values of excellence in public safety through our emergency response, along with a number of non-emergency services including smoke detector battery changes and public education outreach.
